I took the class in Lucca for the week of Oct. 5, 2009. It was suppose to be cooking with an Italian Mama, however when we arrived at the home of the hostess we were very disappointed to find the conditions unpleasant. They had a dog and a cat and the home was not very clean. I have been in many Italian homes over the years and have always been impressed by the cleanliness and pride taken by the owner to have a neat and orderly house. This home did not have any of these qualities. So we found a hotel and opted to take the language only. We learned some helpful information and enjoyed the city of Lucca. I would not recommend the course.
